Welcome to Live Connect Fort Worth, an event networking directory operated by Access Fort Worth (“Access Fort Worth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and application (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
The Service is offered in the United States and is intended for business professionals attending Access Fort Worth events. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Your account
To join the directory you create an account and provide information about yourself. You agree to give accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us at contact@accessfortworth.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
3. What the Service does
The Service lets event attendees create a profile, appear in a searchable attendee directory, and connect with one another (for example, by sending a text message or saving a contact card). Your profile is shown to other attendees only when you choose to appear in the directory. You control this at any time using the “Open to being contacted” setting in your profile.
4. Your content and directory listing
You decide what to share in your profile, which may include your name, photo, company, job title, industry, contact details, and what you are looking for. By adding this information and opting into the directory, you grant Access Fort Worth permission to display it to other attendees of the same event through the Service. You can edit your profile, turn off directory visibility, or ask us to delete your account at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- harvest, scrape, copy, or store the directory or other attendees’ information except to make a genuine one-to-one connection;
- use another attendee’s contact details to send spam, marketing blasts, or unwanted repeated messages;
- harass, threaten, impersonate, or mislead any other person;
- upload content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes someone else’s rights;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
6. Messaging and contact between attendees
If you enable the “Open to being contacted” setting, other attendees may see your contact information and reach out to you. Any communication you have with another attendee is between you and that person. Access Fort Worth is not responsible for the conduct of, or your interactions with, other attendees.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, features, and branding, is owned by Access Fort Worth and its licensors and is protected by law. You keep ownership of the information you submit; we use it only to operate and provide the Service as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any connection you make will lead to a particular result.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Access Fort Worth will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Access Fort Worth from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting contact@accessfortworth.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.
